2 Floridians among big Mega Millions winners; jackpot increased to $820 million
TAMPA, Florida (FloridaToday.news) — Friday’s Mega Millions draw once again failed to reveal a jackpot winner, bringing the jackpot closer to $1 billion.
The winning numbers were 29, 40, 47, 50 and 57, as well as the golden Mega Ball 25. Without a winner, the jackpot rose to approximately $820 million with a cash value of $422.0 million.

According to the Mega Millions website, the jackpot rose to a similar level last year, resulting in a $1.337 billion jackpot win on July 29, 2023, the third billion dollar jackpot won in the competition’s history.

While there was no jackpot winner, there were eight big winners who matched five winning numbers to win a $1 million second tier prize.
Florida, New Jersey and North Carolina reported two winners, while California and Michigan reported one winner.
According to the Florida Lottery, one winning ticket was sold at Publix at 2886 Alternate 19 in Palm Harbor. Another was sold at the Gun Club Food Mart at 252 S Military Trail in West Palm Beach.
The next draw will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 pm EST.
