It’s been a week and a half since Miki Sudo dominated Nathan’s hot dog eating contest, eating 39.5 francs in 10 minutes.
Now she coaches two colleagues from Florida, teaching them what it takes to rise to the top of the nutrition competition.
Sudou talked about her craft with Matt Austin and Ginger Gadsden during an episode of Florida’s Fourth Estate.
“You want to keep chewing to a minimum,” she said. “Chewing is a waste of time and signals to your brain that you are full.”

The Tampa competitor warns that you should still be safe by making sure your bites are small enough to swallow in a sip of water.
Before they started eating, Sudo also told the hosts to stay away from the minefields.

“Don’t stuff your mouth too much, it’s a recipe for disaster,” Sudou said.
With her experience, she’s comfortable stuffing more down the hatch, but she tries to keep the hot dog and bun separate.
“I took two hot dogs and ate these two meats side by side, and while I was doing this, I dipped one bun, cut the bun in half, put it in my mouth and swallowed it.” – Sudo. said.

After giving much advice, she encouraged Austin and Gadsden to try.
Sudo holds the Guinness World Record for eating six hot dogs in one minute. She made the hosts start with three.
Within a minute, their bellies got a little bigger, as did their understanding of what it takes to be a competitive eater.
“I feel like I have more respect. There is a lot of skill in what you do,” Austin said.
