Christopher Nolan, cast of ‘Oppenheimer’ at the world premiere of the new atomic bomb thriller in Paris

“Oppenheimer” is a summer movie that is coming out with a bang!

It hits theaters next week, but the cast and crew are due to celebrate their explosive world premiere in Paris on Tuesday night.

Christopher Nolan: “This is the first cinema in the world where we will show Oppenheimer on 70mm film.”

Cillian Murphy: “The response so far has been amazing. It’s a theatrical, IMAX film, so I’ll watch it tonight.”

Cillian Murphy (as J. Robert Oppenheimer): “We’re in a race against the Nazis. And I know what it means if the Nazis have a bomb.”

Cillian Murphy: “I think it asks a lot of questions, some of the big ethical, moral, paradoxical questions that there are.”

Matt Damon as (Leslie Groves Jr.): “Are we saying there’s a chance that pressing this button will destroy the world?”

Cillian Murphy (as J. Robert Oppenheimer): “The odds are close to zero.”

Matt Damon as (Leslie Groves Jr.): “Near zero?”

Matt Damon: “I’m very excited; turned out very well. It’s one of the best screen performances I’ve ever seen with what Killian did.”

Cillian Murphy (as J. Robert Oppenheimer): “I can do this miracle.”

Will Roberts (as Gen. George Q. Marshall): “World War II will end; our boys will come home.”

Emily Blunt (as Kitty Oppenheimer): “It’s happening, isn’t it?”

Emily Blunt: The script was heartbreaking. I mean it was yes before I read it.”

Kenneth Branagh (as Niels Bohr): “You are the man who gave them the opportunity to destroy themselves. And the world is not ready.”

Robert Downey Jr.: “You literally – you’ll feel like you’ve been taken back to the time it happened.”

Emily Blunt: “This is more than a movie. It’s a heartbreaking experience, and to steal it to the fullest, you have to look at it, look at it big.”

Matt Damon: “They invented the black and white IMAX format for the sequences in this film. I mean, it’s just how you should see it, if you can.

Robert Downey Jr. (as Lewis Strauss): “Truman needs to know what’s next.”

Cillian Murphy (as J. Robert Oppenheimer): “What’s Next?”

Cillian Murphy: “My 15 year old saw it and he was knocked out and was very, very curious about all this time in history and its relevance to today.”

Robert Downey Jr.: “I’ve never been in a movie this big and this small because it’s something we all really think about.”

Cillian Murphy (as J. Robert Oppenheimer): “The world will remember this day.”

Oppenheimer will be released exclusively in theaters on July 21st.
