JACKSONVILLE, Florida. Gov. Ron DeSantis is threatening to sue Bud Light’s parent company after its stock plummeted.

Earlier this year, AB InBev launched a marketing campaign featuring a transgender influencer.

As a result, Bud Light’s sales plummeted. The governor said the decline could affect the state’s pension savings.

During an appearance on Fox News Thursday night, DeSantis said the state owned a large amount of AB InBev stock in the Fed’s government pension plan before the crash.

We overcame the ESG in Florida. Therefore, I am calling for an investigation into AB InBev’s actions regarding their Bud Light marketing campaign and the drop in share prices. All options are on the table, and awakened corporations that put ideology ahead of profit need to be on the lookout.
