It’s right. National Cowboy Day is almost here, and if you’re looking to unleash your inner cowboy, this is the place to be.
You don’t have to go to Old Town Road to celebrate National Cowboy Day on Saturday.
For some fun, head to The Wharf Fort Lauderdale.
Sam Escobar: “We are very, very excited about our Wild Wharf party. Held in honor of National Cowboy Day, there is a whole western-themed event throughout the area. This is the first time we’ve done it here; it’s pretty exciting.”
Everything will be ready for the big party.
Sam Escobar: “We’ll have barrels, we’ll have saddles, we’ll have ornaments – flags, banners, nine whole yards.”
This is the perfect time to flaunt your most elegant western-style suits, weather permitting.
Sam Escobar: “We always encourage people to come dressed up because it makes the event so much more fun, but it’s summer in South Florida, so just stay calm, you know?”
All of you cowboys and cowgirls will have a chance to show off your Wild West skills.
Try to stay in the saddle while you ride on the back of the mechanical bull. Test your ax throwing skills or maybe quench your thirst in a few different ways.
Sam Escobar: “We have several whiskey-based cocktails in different flavors. You can get the cocktail itself for half price, or the pitcher for $35, which is about four or five cocktails, depending on how you want to pour it.”
Without music, Saturday night will not be remembered, right?
Sam Escobar: “We have a live band doing western rock and roll themes. They will do three sets during the evening. We also have a live DJ.”
You will definitely want to have a snack after a serious dance.
You can eat great here, buddy.
Sam Escobar: We also have four food trucks. One pizza truck, another hamburger truck, tacos and a pancake truck, lots of things to choose from.”

The National Cowboy Day celebration begins at noon on Saturday and continues until 3 a.m. on Sunday. If you answer online they will give you a free cowboy hat.
