Powerball Draw: See How Many Floridians Won $2 Million and $1 Million

The $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot went to one lucky California winner.

ST. SAINT PETERSBURG, Florida. The winner of the massive $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot may be from California, but five Florida residents have yet to celebrate their big win after Wednesday’s draw.

The winning numbers for the July 19 draw were 7-10-11-13-24Powerball 24 and power play 2.

Four Florida Powerball players matched all five numbers for a $1 million prize. A fifth Florida resident matched all five numbers plus the Power Play, doubling the prize to $2 million.

A total of 36 $1 million winning tickets and three $2 million winning tickets were raffled off in the US.

This $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot was the third largest in the game’s history, surpassed only by the world record of the $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot won last year and the $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot won in 2016. This is the sixth biggest lottery win of any game.

Jackpot winners can receive the full amount over 29 years, or opt for a smaller cash amount. The cash option to play on Wednesday was $558.1 million before taxes.

If you missed out on a prize this time, the next Powerball draw will take place at 11:50 pm on Saturday, July 22nd, starting with a new $20 million jackpot. And you can still win some life-changing cash this week with Friday’s $720 million Mega Millions jackpot.

However, it is important to remember that your chances of winning the lottery are extremely slim. The chances of winning the Powerball jackpot – regardless of size – are about 1 in 292.2 million. The odds of winning the Mega Millions top prize are even lower, at roughly 1 in 302.6 million.
