Silver Alert: JSO looking for missing man with cancer and dementia

JACKSONVILLE, Florida. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help in finding Johnny Ray Dove.

Police are currently searching the Tallulah and Norwood areas. Dove was last seen driving a gold 2005 Buick Terraza minivan with Florida’s “976 3TE” emblem around 9:30 am on July 23rd. His Dove family is sick with cancer and showing signs of dementia.

Johnny Ray Dove is a 68-year-old African-American man with brown eyes and gray hair. He stands 5 feet 6 inches and weighs 225 pounds. Police believe he is wearing an Air Force T-shirt on the front, black trousers and black slippers.

Anyone with information on Dove’s whereabouts is asked to call the JSO at 904-630-0500 or 911.
