TAMPA, Florida (FloridaToday.news). According to a PODS study, Americans continue to flock to Florida, where five of the 10 most popular places to relocate are located.
The transportation and storage company said this year’s data shows Americans continue to gravitate towards warmer states.
PODS says its long-distance moving data shows Americans continue to move en masse to cities in Florida, Texas, Tennessee and the Carolinas. A recent study by PODS states that over 80 percent of the cities with the most relocation rates are in these four states.
“Our numbers show that cities and states with high costs of living, high crime rates, and inclement weather push Americans to move, while cities and states with low tax rates, warm weather, and relatively affordable housing attract people to move.” PODS said.
Tampa Bay was ranked 9th on the PODS cities list with the highest number of entrants. Last year, the district took 4th place.
